Sevika Sangham

The women in the Marthoma church also shared the spiritual power generated by the reformation. the Marthoma Suvisesha Sevika Sangham, the women’s wing, was inaugurated during the maramon convention in the year 1919, under the leadership of Abraham Marthoma suffragan metropolitan., who gave the Sangham continued support and inspiration.

The motto of the Mar Thoma Sevika Sangham is ‘Service and Evangelism in the life and mission of the Marthoma Church’. Every women of the Mar Thoma Church above the age of 25 years is a member of the Sevika Sangham. The Sevika Sangham has branches in all parishes of the Mar Thoma Church both in India and abroad.

St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church Gurgaon is blessed with a very active and dedicated Sevika Sangham. St. Thomas Sevika Sangham Gurgaon was started in the year 2002 and since then has regular Sangham meetings every Sunday after the church.

Auctions and sale of different items are held in our church every Sunday by our Sevika Sangham and the money so collected is used for different charitable ministries like cancer patients aid, educational sponsorships, church building funds etc..They stood as a great support during the building of our church both spiritually and financially. St. Thomas Mar Thoma Sevika Sangham Gurgaon is a blessing both to the life and ministry of the church.

Sevika Sangham meeting is held every sunday after the service.
